“Tootsie Roll” Drive–2009
During the weekend of October 16th, 17th, and 18th this year, the Amador County Council once again went to the various shopping centers in Amador County as well as all the Catholic churches in the Amador Catholic Community to collect donations for those people with mental disabilities. The Council collected just over $2,200.00. This is then sent to the California Columbian Charities for People with Mental Disabilities. They will make out a check for the Arc of Amador and Calaveras, which the Council will present at a later date.
