In 1997 the Amador County Council 1849, through the efforts of many members, was re-chartered as an active council.  There were 35 Charter Members at that time.  Brent Carrico became the Council’s first Grand Knight.  This page is in honor of him and the many Grand Knights who have followed in his footsteps.
